Who are our members?
Families, singles, Millennials, the elderly and the very young all join together at The
Song Shul. We are a true Community in Harmony, honouring and including all ages and
backgrounds. Our members are people who open their hearts in the greatest spirit of
acceptance and friendship.
Since we began. . .
The Song Shul has grown tremendously since our September 2016 launch when we made history with the live radio broadcast of our musical Slichot service. And it just keeps getting better! For the High Holy Days we create a sacred space in the acoustically perfect George Weston Recital Hall, and we have been drawing so many people to each and every Shabbat morning service that even before pandemic restrictions, we required pre-registration to address the capacity crowds. Services always feature Cantor Simon Spiro and the glorious sound of The Toronto Festival Singers. Our creative programs and classes are consistently sold out and enthusiastically received.
