One of the distinctive programs at The Song Shul is our monthly musical Service of Healing. Aliza and Cantor Simon lead this 1-hour evening service for all who need physical, emotional or spiritual healing. Offering an opportunity to join together and heal through song and narrative, this service is informal and intimate. It features songs in English and Hebrew which often reflect messages related to that week’s Torah portion. Together, and with music, we create a warm, welcoming and sacred space for all.
Come in jeans or a suit; come to sing or to listen, to connect with others or to remain in your own thoughts. You may find yourself weeping, or possibly sharing your support with those in need of it. It’s all okay. Let the music envelop you, let the spirit around you give you comfort.
Whether you simply had a bad day or are going through a difficult patch that’s been lasting a while, cherish this special hour. Find hope. Be uplifted. Restore your inner peace, and begin to heal.
